Fire, Flour & Fork Will Delight
From Oct. 30 to Nov. 2, Fire, Flour & Fork takes over Downtown Richmond. This four-day culinary gathering is sure to dazzle your taste buds; the event is organized by Real Richmond Food Tours and is presented by Virginia Tourism Cooperation. We're thrilled to be part of the outreach team.
Fire, Flour & Fork celebrates Richmond's complex food history; established and rising stars; and the city's rich, artistic communities.
What can you expect during this tempting culinary extravaganza? There will be highly curated mix of dining events; demonstrations; food talks; and much, much more.
We're most excited for the chef collaborations during this event. Sean Brock, executive chef of the Husk Restaurants in Charleston and Nashville teams up with our friend Travis Milton of Comfort for an Appalachian Memoir dinner. We learned so much from Sean during his time on last season's Mind of a Chef on PBS.
We're also freaking out about Christina Tosi, chef, owner and founder of Momofuku Milk Bar who is joining for the Festival of the Hungry Ghosts on Friday night. Her dessert cafes are home to inventive baked goods and soft serve and we can't wait to see what pastries she whips up for Fire, Flour & Fork. Crack pie please.
