This summer has been pretty busy after a few fun trips for my birthday and other celebrations. But if I have the chance to add a successful beach day before the end of summer, I will be quite satisfied with Summer '24!

The end of summer is a time of panic for me, as I love the warmth of the summer sun. My summer bucket list contains some travel plans, the beach, a mountain hike, more post-dinner flip flop freeze pop family walks around the neighborhood, and more mother-son outings before the kiddo goes back to school. Those should round out the summer nicely and prepare me for the winter chill.

Well, I have accomplished eating every Duke's/Tomato combo that I could get my hands on for Duke's Hot Tomato Summer. Keep the Hanovers coming, I am not done yet! My August bucket list is to see as many friends as possible, starting with a lake visit with my college gang, and a drag brunch in honor of my sister's birthday. Before we know it, Oktoberfest will be here, along with jeans and sweaters. So celebrate the summer as long as you can!

I'm planning on going to the pool as much as I can before the season ends!

Summertime in Texas is not for me. The heat, the humidity, the summer allergies.. bleh. So, as anticlimactic as it is, my summer bucket list as a fairly new transplant to Texas is for summer to be over, haha! But since that doesn’t happen until around October, I’ll settle for checking out some of the coffee spots in downtown Houston until then.

One of my summer bucket list items was to learn how to ride a scooter. I don’t have the best balance, and I wanted a vehicle to run errands around town without worrying about parking and traffic. It’s been a bit of a learning curve, but I’m getting more comfortable every day. Now, I ride it to take my laptop to get coffee, grab lunch, or just do a quick grocery store run. I’m starting to really love it!
From beach parties to mountain hikes, our team has an exciting lineup of bucket list items they’re eager to tackle before the season ends. Keep the summer vibes going strong by adding some adventures to your own summer bucket list!
